“You better get this opportunity and make the most of it now” Antonio Pierce’s Job Should be Safe but on one condition if he……..

The chances the Las Vegas Raiders have of beating the Kansas City Chiefs on the road for a second consecutive season are slim to none. So, if they do, Raiders head coach would have earned the right to finish out his contract.

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce signed a two-year deal with the team earlier in the year after having the interim tag removed from his title. Pierce earned the head coaching position after guiding the team to a 5-4 record over the final half of last season under circumstances that were far from ideal.

Arguably the most critical of those five wins was the team’s upset win on the road over the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day. The Raiders beat the Chiefs in such a resounding manner that Chiefs head coach Andy Reid reportedly reached out to Pierce, thanking the Raiders for a “wake up call.”

After their Christmas Day loss to the Chiefs would win 15 games in a row, including the Super Bowl.

What made the Raiders’ win over the Chiefs so impressive last season, is that the Raiders had nearly all of the odds stacked against them and still won. They beat the Chiefs without completing a pass after the first quarter, a feat that is nearly impossible.

Fast-forward nearly a full calendar year, and the Raiders have even more odds stacked against them this time around. They will head into Kansas City, missing some of their best players on defense and with a quarterback returning from an injury.

The injuries to numerous Raiders players have led to the team depending on many of its younger players who are playing in extended roles. Pierce noted the preparation process stays the same for the younger players and that nothing changes because of the unique opponent they will face.

“No, status quo,” Pierce said. “They know it. Hell, they’ve been hearing that war chant for the last 48 hours. They’re ready to kill me on that one, so they’ll hear it again today. I’m sure we’ll hear it on Friday. But young guys, man, like I said, the way I try to set up our schedule and our scripts each and every day is to give them opportunities throughout the week and practice with developmental, the way we compete on the scout team.

“So, you see what you’re going to get. What Sincere [McCormick] did in the game, I saw for eight or nine weeks. He just had to do it on Sunday. And now that other guys are getting that opportunity, what I always tell them is, I don’t know if you’re going to be up for next week. You better get this opportunity and make the most of it now. So, they understand that. And for the most part, most of our guys do a really good job of taking the opportunity and running with it.”

Before last season, the Raiders had once beaten the Chiefs in Kansas City since 2013. Suppose the Raiders can register a second win against the Chiefs on the road without half of their defensive starters, their fourth offensive coordinator in less than the last two seasons, and arguably the worst quarterback room in the National Football League, Pierce should be allowed to finish his contract with the team in that case.

The Raiders should also keep him on the staff afterwards if they decide to move on to another coach.

GREAT NEWS: “I’m just proud of his effort.”Brock Bowers nominated for NFL Rookie of the Week for seventh time this season

For the seventh time this season, Brock Bowers has been nominated for the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week.

Bowers received the nomination after recording 11 receptions for 99 yards in Sunday’s win over Jacksonville. Bowers joined Odell Beckham Jr. (four) as the only two players at any position in NFL history to record four games of double-digit receptions in their rookie season.

“He’s all ball,” Head Coach Antonio Pierce said following the win. “He’s all business. He doesn’t blink. He doesn’t flinch. He wants to win. Whatever it takes to win, if it’s throwing him the ball or him blocking, he’ll do whatever it takes. Again, I’m just proud of his effort.”

With two regular season games remaining, Bowers leads all rookies in receptions (101), yards after catch (549) and receiving first downs (53). He ranks second among rookies and eighth in the NFL in receiving yards (1,067)

In addition to Bowers, Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving and Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. were also nominated.

OH NO: Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders sends Eye-Opening Message Following Raiders Win over Jaguars

The Las Vegas Raiders won against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but they may have cost themself a chance to get one of the top quarterbacks in the draft. For months, the team has been linked to Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Fans even noticed how Sanders would post “Thank you GOD” after every Raiders loss on X. Following Las Vegas’ win on Sunday, they dropped to No. 6 in the 2025 NFL Draft order, per Tankathon. Sanders decided to send out a different message on X after the win.

“Legendary,” Sanders wrote less than an hour after the Raiders game ended.

It’s difficult to know what he could mean by that. He posted the same message on X during the Raiders’ Week 15 loss to the Atlanta Falcons and also used the same caption over a photo of Allegiant Stadium during a recent trip to Las Vegas.

It seems to be a common word he uses but the timing of his posts is still interesting. Sanders is certainly intrigued by Las Vegas but it remains to be seen if it’s Raiders or bust for him. He’s not going to have much of a say in where he gets drafted, especially with the Raiders falling all the way down to No. 6 for now.

Can Raiders Still Land Shedeur Sanders?

The New York Giants, Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns are three of the teams now projected to pick ahead of the Raiders that all need quarterbacks. The Titans play the Jaguars in Week 17 and a win in that spot would put the Raiders back ahead of them.

However, it’ll be very difficult for Las Vegas to get back ahead of the Giants. New York is almost certainly going to draft a quarterback. ESPN recently reported that Sanders may prefer the Raiders to the Giants but it remains to be seen if that preference is strong enough for him to refuse to play for them.

That may be the only way the Raiders could realistically still get Sanders. His father Deion Sanders has said that the family will be willing to force Shedeur Sanders to the team he wants to play for but that would be contingent on him not wanting to play for the Giants.

Antonio Pierce Rips Idea of Tanking

Fans were hoping for the Raiders to lose out but head coach Antonio Pierce desperately needed to get a win. Had the team lost 13 straight to end the season, there’s a good chance he would’ve been fired.

Pierce is still on the hot seat but his chances of keeping the job have increased. That said, the future of the franchise is hurt by not having the No. 1 pick. The coach doesn’t care. He only cares about winning.

“We don’t do this to lose,” Pierce said during his Monday press conference. “We don’t do this for anybody’s fantasy football team. We don’t do this for anybody’s draft projections. None of that [expletive] matters to us. The only thing that matters is winning, and that’s all we want to do.”

Even if Pierce is brought back because of this win, it may not change the inevitable as the Raiders won’t be very good next season if they can’t make a significant upgrade at quarterback.

Maxx Crosby Sends Warning message to Las Vegas Raiders with shocking statement after hearted disputes between Mark and board member ..

In a surprising turn of events, Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby has issued a shocking statement that has sent ripples through the NFL community. Crosby, who has been a key player for the Raiders, revealed a growing conflict within the organization, fueled by recent disputes between team owner Mark Davis and legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

Crosby, whose loyalty to the team is unquestionable, acknowledged a personal divide, stating, “My heart is with Mark Davis, but my allegiance is to Tom Brady.” This statement, coming from one of the franchise’s most vocal leaders, has raised eyebrows, as it hints at a deeper rift that could affect the team’s future.

Sources close to the Raiders have indicated that tensions between Davis and Brady have escalated in recent months, with conflicting visions for the team’s direction. Brady, who was rumored to be considering a significant role with the franchise, has reportedly clashed with Davis over decisions regarding team management and roster changes.

Crosby’s comments reflect a complex situation within the locker room, with players increasingly divided over the direction of the franchise. “I want what’s best for the Raiders,” Crosby continued, “but I can’t ignore the influence Tom has had on me and on this game. It’s not easy, but it’s the truth.”

The implications of Crosby’s statement are still unfolding, but it’s clear that the Raiders’ future may hinge on how the franchise resolves its internal conflicts. Will they reconcile their differences, or will this growing tension lead to even bigger challenges ahead? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: the Raiders’ locker room is far from united.
