Predicting the outcome of Steelers’ Week 15 matchup vs. Eagles
Watch out Pittsburgh, it is going to be a tough task for the Steelers in Week 15.

There are plenty of happy folks in Pittsburgh right now. The Steelers sit at a 10-3 record and the holiday season is kicking into high gear. It feels good to be watching football, and their favorite team is starting to show they could be Super Bowl contenders. They have only lost to non-playoff opponents to this point, which included the Colts, Browns, and Cowboys.
On the flip side of this Week 15 matchup, the Eagles will be playing host to Mike Tomlin’s club. Philadelphia has won nine straight games, despite plenty of disfunction popping up within their locker room. They have been able to find ways to win football games, even though it might not be in the dominant fashion their fanbase has grown to expect.
Don’t anticipate the Steelers winning this matchup on the road. It is an uphill battle for them to climb, and they haven’t won a contest in Philadelphia in 59 years, which is a tough number to wrap your head around. Sometimes Pittsburgh pulls a win out of nowhere, no matter if experts are picking them in their weekly prediction articles or not. Either way, this is going to be a difficult challenge to overcome.
Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia Week 15 prediction: Steelers 20, Eagles 19
You can mark up this pick as the boldest prediction of the season for the Steelers. Almost everyone will be expecting the Eagles to win this football game. Plenty of things are working against Pittsburgh going into this matchup. They will have to overcome many different roadblocks if they want this victory to come to light. Just because they are not favored doesn’t mean they won’t at least keep this close.
Pittsburgh has to find a way to keep their run game going and slow down a tough Eagles front. Perhaps Russell Wilson and company can keep their screen game going strong and get the ball out of the hands of their quarterback fast. If they can combine that with a strong run game on offense, then they will have a shot at winning this one. That of course is much easier said than done.
When it comes to the Steelers’ defense, they have to shut down the Eagles’ run game and force Jalen Hurts to win with his arm. They need to defend against Philadelphia’s offense similar to what they did against the Ravens. If they can do that and force Hurts into a couple of turnovers, then the Steelers could have plenty of great opportunities to capitalize.
If Pittsburgh can make this a low-scoring game, then they should be in the fight until the bitter end. It’s unlikely they can win in a shootout with Philadelphia since the Eagles’ defense has too many stout players. Don’t chalk this up as a loss where the Steelers get dominated for an entire game. They should be ready to go. They will have to play a gritty style of football if they want to taste victory.

The Orlando Magic ended their six-game home losing streak in style on Monday, defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 118-106 and handing them their third consecutive loss.
Despite a strong first half, the Lakers collapsed in the third quarter, getting outscored 34-18—a trend that has plagued them recently.
Magic Shine as Lakers Fade
Franz Wagner led the Magic with 32 points and nine assists, while Paolo Banchero added 30 points and seven rebounds.
For the Lakers, Luka Dončić scored 32 points, while LeBron James contributed 24 points and eight assists, but it wasn’t enough to prevent another disappointing result.
“We look tired,” admitted Lakers coach JJ Redick.
“We weren’t able to sustain the level of intensity that we started the game with.”
Lakers in Freefall with Playoff Race Heating Up
Los Angeles has now lost seven of their last 10 games, and while they remain fourth in the Western Conference, they are just three games ahead of the seventh-seeded LA Clippers, who currently hold the first play-in tournament spot.
“I think we just got a little bit satisfied,” Dončić admitted. “We can’t afford that right now.”
A Growing Concern for LA
This loss came just two days after the Lakers were blown out 146-115 by the Chicago Bulls, where a similar second-half collapse saw them get outscored 39-27 in the third quarter.
Lakers forward Dorian Finney-Smith pointed to offensive struggles affecting their defensive energy, while LeBron James admitted the team is “going through it a little bit.”
Tough Road Ahead for the Lakers
With just 11 regular-season games remaining, seven of which are on the road, the Lakers must quickly rediscover their form if they want to avoid slipping into the play-in tournament.
“I think me and Bron, we should be the guys to do that,” Dončić said about stopping their recent slide.
“That’s on me. Obviously, I’ve got to do better, I’ve got to talk more.”
Now, the question is ‘Can the Lakers turn it around before it’s too late?’
The Los Angeles team will begin a four-game road trip on Wednesday in Indiana, followed by a rematch against Chicago on Thursday—games that could determine whether they stay in the top six or fall into a dangerous postseason position.

Will Luka Doncic play tonight against the Orlando Magic? Latest update on the Los Angeles Lakers star’s injury report
The Los Angeles Lakers (43-27) will have Luka Doncic available when they face the Orlando Magic (33-38) on Monday night at the Kia Center. Despite injury concerns surrounding key players, Doncic remains fit and ready to contribute as the Lakers push for playoff positioning.
Is Luka Doncic playing tonight? Los Angeles Lakers injury report for tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic (March 24, 2025)
Luka Doncic has been declared fit to play tonight against the Orlando Magic. The Los Angeles Lakers’ injury report lists Maxi Kleber (foot) as out, LeBron James (groin) as probable, and Rui Hachimura (patellar) as questionable.
Doncic has been a steady force for the Lakers, averaging 26.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 7.8 assists over the last 20 games. His presence is crucial as Los Angeles looks to improve its 19th-ranked offense (112.8 PPG) against Orlando’s top-ranked defense (106.1 PPG allowed).
Orlando Magic’s injury report for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers (March 24, 2025)
The Magic are dealing with significant setbacks, including Cole Anthony (toe) and Trevelin Queen (ankle) listed as questionable. Orlando will also be without Moritz Wagner (knee) and Jalen Suggs (quadricep), both ruled out for the season—a major blow to their rotation.
The Magic, despite their defensive strength, struggle offensively, ranking last in the NBA with just 104.8 points per game. Paolo Banchero (27.8 PPG) and Franz Wagner (23.0 PPG) lead Orlando, but the absence of Suggs—a key perimeter defender—and Wagner’s lingering injury woes could tilt the game in the Los Angeles Lakers’ favor.
With Anthony and Queen both game-time decisions, Orlando’s backcourt depth will be tested. If either sits, expect heavier minutes from Anthony Black and Caleb Houstan, who have shown flashes but lack consistency.

New Orleans Saints forge ahead with Derek Carr and Cam Jordan while targeting pass catchers after missing out on Cooper Kupp with surprising draft strategy

New Orleans Saints forge ahead with Derek Carr and Cam Jordan while targeting pass catchers after missing out on Cooper Kupp with surprising draft strategy
New Orleans has opted to retain experienced players in Derek Carr and Cam Jordan, a move that emphasizes immediate competitiveness over financial savings. By keeping these veterans on the roster, the team signals a commitment to fielding a more capable unit for the upcoming season rather than pursuing a full-scale rebuilding effort.
Pursuing a Game-Changing Receiver
The organization also pursued a high-impact receiver option when it inquired about acquiring star wide receiver Cooper Kupp. With the opportunity to bring in a proven playmaker, the team hoped to bolster its passing attack with a player capable of making an immediate difference. However, when Kupp signed elsewhere, New Orleans was forced to widen its search for additional pass-catching talent.
Evaluating Draft Prospects
Looking ahead to the NFL Draft, the squad appears set to target wide receivers to address its needs. A notable prospect from Stanford, a 6-foot-2 pass catcher, has drawn mixed evaluations. Some analysts believe the player may be more suited to a system where he is not the primary target, given his current skill set. In New Orleans, the presence of an elite receiver already positions the team to develop complementary offensive weapons rather than relying solely on a rookie to shoulder a leading role. Consequently, while the organization is interested, it is unlikely to use one of its top picks on this particular prospect unless he demonstrates significant improvement or falls unexpectedly in the draft order.
Balancing Immediate Impact and Future Growth
The team’s strategy combines the retention of proven talent with careful acquisition of new skills through the draft. By safeguarding established players and selectively targeting potential upgrades, New Orleans aims to maintain competitiveness while building for a sustainable future. This dual approach highlights a philosophy that values both immediate performance advantages and measured, long-term development.
Throughout the offseason, the decisions made underscore a commitment to not only preserving a solid team dynamic but also to evolving the roster intelligently. Establishing a balanced offense that can capitalize on both seasoned leadership and emerging talent remains a central priority as the team prepares for its upcoming challenges.

Garrett Wilson ‘Thrilled’ About Jets’ Biggest Decision..
If one of the chief goals for the New York Jets was to bridge the gap between the organization and wide receiver Garrett Wilson, they accomplished that in droves during the first week of free agency. With New York signing former first-round pick Justin Fields, the Jets are pairing their top receiver with his college quarterback. Wilson and Fields were on the same Ohio State team from 2019-2020 where Wilson caught a combined 113 passes for nearly 1,800 yards combined. Despite Fields’ struggles in the NFL, the signing has reportedly “thrilled” Wilson this offseason. Now the hope is both Ohio State products will be able to produce like they did all those years ago at the college level. “Even when we thought we weren’t going to have a season, he kept the spirit up and always kept us prepared to go,” Wilson said to ESPN of Fields back in 2022. “He made sure the receivers were getting their work in. At the very least, his arrival will make Wilson happy as he searches for a long-term deal. Related: Jets Given Incredible ‘Superstar’ Ranking In QB Justin Fields Report
