AM FRUSTRATED: New Orleans saints running back Alvin kamara sent shock ways to Sents owner that why must he be treated like this after his recent performances
In the wake of Alvin Kamara’s recent performances on the field, many fans and analysts are questioning why the New Orleans Saints running back is being treated with such unwarranted criticism. Despite putting up impressive numbers and continuing to showcase his dynamic ability, Kamara has faced undue scrutiny in recent weeks.
Kamara, who has been a key player for the Saints for several seasons, has consistently demonstrated his versatility, combining both rushing and receiving skills. His ability to make game-changing plays has earned him Pro Bowl selections and placed him among the elite in the NFL. However, recent criticisms have been targeting his effort and production, despite his pivotal role in the Saints’ offense.
As the team struggles with inconsistency, some are quick to blame Kamara, but can one player truly be the scapegoat for the team’s collective challenges? With over 1,000 yards from scrimmage and several touchdowns this season, Kamara’s contributions to the offense are undeniable.
Why, then, are critics focusing on Kamara when he continues to perform at a high level? Is he being unfairly held to a standard that doesn’t account for the struggles of the Saints as a whole? And why is it that one of the most talented running backs in the league is being targeted with such intensity?
As the season unfolds, the focus must shift from unfair criticism to understanding the bigger picture of the Saints’ performance. Kamara has been nothing short of exceptional, and his treatment by some fans and analysts leaves many questioning the true nature of his detractors’ motives.

BREAKING: Saints Select Alvin Kamara Complement and Successor ahead of NFL Draft
The New Orleans Saints struggled in 2024. The bad news is they put together a season to forget. The good news is they landed a top ten pick in the NFL Draft because of this horrid season.
USA Today’s Adam Stites recently predicted the Saints would use this first-round pick to select Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty. Jeanty would work as a complementary back with Alvin Kamara before eventually taking over for the veteran running back.
“The assumption seems to be that Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who has ridden Saquon Barkley to Super Bowl LIX, is set to take over in New Orleans,” Stites wrote. “With quarterback options slim, why not try to replicate that formula by adding the draft’s most exciting running back to the Saints offense?”
A lot of experts don’t recommend drafting running backs in the first round. Running backs typically have short shelf lives and they’re typically not a huge contributing factor to Super Bowl wins. Teams find budget running backs later in the draft all the time.
But Jeanty is just different.
He posted the best college running back season since the great Barry Sanders dominated college students in the 1980s. Adding Jeanty to a backfield with Kamara would be a huge addition to the Saints’ offense.
If the Saints land Kellen Moore as their next head coach, this selection would make even more sense. Moore, the offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles, has relied heavily on Saquon Barkley to carry the Eagles to where they’re at. It’s obvious a talented running back is a huge piece of Moore’s offense and Jeanty would join Kamara is a very dangerous Saints backfield.

BREAKING: Saints to seal deal for $2.5million Budget Super Bowl Running Back to replace Alvin Kamara following…
The New Orleans Saints have some holes to fill on their roster if they want to compete in 2025.
While it’s not a very pressing need, the Saints could add a running back to better complement Alvin Kamara in the backfield. Kamara and the Saints have done their best work when the star running back has a solid running mate.
Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox recently suggested the Saints could be a potential landing spot for Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt this offseason. Hunt and the Chiefs are one game away from a Super Bowl victory this season.
“Kareem Hunt has shown that he has plenty left in the proverbial tank. While the 29-year-old has lost the burst he showcased early in his career, he added a physical rushing presence to the Kansas City Chiefs offense this season,” Knox wrote. “While Hunt may no longer be a high-end starter, he’d be a strong complementary option in any committee backfield. After playing on a one-year, $1.2 million deal in 2024, Hunt should expect a contract in the $3 million range for 2025.
“The New Orleans Saints should consider prying Hunt away from Kansas City. The Saints could use a physical running complement to Alvin Kamara and need to find one on a budget. New Orleans is projected to be $59.2 million over the salary cap.”
Hunt is talented and affordable. The Saints, ranked dead last in the NFL in cap space, will need to prioritize the affordable free agents.
It’ll be tough to drag the Chiefs breakout rusher away from Kansas City, especially if he wins a Super Bowl in the coming weeks, but it wouldn’t hurt the Saints to take a shot on him.

BREAKING: The New Orleans Saints have appointed former quarterback Drew Brees as their new head coach for the 2025 NFL season…
In a surprising turn of events, the New Orleans Saints have appointed former quarterback Drew Brees as their new head coach for the 2025 NFL season. This decision comes after a period of speculation linking the Saints to various coaching candidates, including former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
Kliff Kingsbury, who led the Cardinals from 2019 to 2022, had been a prominent figure in coaching discussions. After his tenure in Arizona, he served as the offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders, where he played a pivotal role in guiding the team to a playoff berth in the 2024 season. Reports from January 2025 indicated that both the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints had expressed interest in interviewing Kingsbury for their head coaching vacancies.
Despite the Saints’ interest, Kingsbury remained focused on his role with the Commanders and had not committed to any interviews during their playoff run. This hesitation, combined with his contentment in Washington, led the Saints to explore other options.
The appointment of Drew Brees marks a significant shift for the franchise. Brees, who retired after the 2020 season, has remained closely associated with the Saints and the city of New Orleans. His transition from legendary quarterback to head coach is unprecedented in the team’s history.
In his introductory press conference, Brees expressed his enthusiasm:
> “This city and this organization mean the world to me. I’ve always considered New Orleans my home, and I’m excited to give back to this community in a new role. I’m ready to get to work and build a team that our fans can be proud of.
General Manager Mickey Loomis also voiced his support:
“Drew’s football IQ is off the charts, and his ability to inspire those around him is unmatched. We believe he’s the right person to guide this team forward.”
While Brees lacks formal coaching experience, his deep understanding of the game and leadership qualities are expected to facilitate a smooth transition. His intimate knowledge of the Saints’ culture and his rapport with both players and fans position him uniquely to lead the team into a new era.
The Saints’ decision to hire Brees comes after an underwhelming season and reflects their commitment to revitalizing the franchise. As the 2025 season approaches, anticipation builds around how Brees will shape the team’s identity and performance.
In summary, while initial reports suggested the Saints were pursuing former Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury, the franchise ultimately chose to entrust its future to one of its most iconic figures, ushering in a new chapter under Drew Brees’ leadership.

Derek Carr continues to lead the team as their starting quarterback for the 2025 season.
The New Orleans Saints are reportedly
exploring options at the quarterback
position, and a high-profile $160 million
signal-caller has emerged as a potential
successor to Derek Carr. With
uncertainty surrounding Carr’s future in
New Orleans, the franchise appears to be
evaluating alternatives that could
provide stability and a fresh start under
center.
Carr’s Struggles Raise Questions About His Future.
Derek Carr’s debut season with the Saints
was met with mixed results. Signed to a
four-year, $150 million contract in 2023,
the former Raiders quarterback was
expected to solidify the position and lead
the team back to playoff contention.
However, inconsistent performances,
injuries, and offensive struggles have
raised concerns about whether Carr is
the long-term answer for New Orleans.
Despite flashes of brilliance, Carr’s
inability to consistently lead the Saints to
victory has put pressure on the front
office to consider other options. While
his contract still has multiple years
remaining, the team may explore ways to
move on if they believe a better
alternative is available.
Saints Linked to a High-Priced Quarterback.
Recent reports suggest that the Saints
have shown interest in a quarterback
with a $160 million contract, signaling a
potential change at the most critical
position. While the player’s identity has
not been officially confirmed,
speculation points to a few big names
around the league who could be on the
move.
One possible candidate is Minnesota
Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, whose
contract falls within that range and who
has been the subject of trade rumors.
Another possibility is Dallas Cowboys’
Dak Prescott, who carries a significant
cap hit and could be available if the
Cowboys decide to make a change. Other
names being floated include
quarterbacks who may be seeking new
deals or facing uncertain futures with
their current teams.
Financial and Roster Implications.
If the Saints were to acquire a
quarterback with such a hefty price tag,
they would need to navigate the financial
hurdles carefully. New Orleans has
historically been aggressive with salary
cap management, restructuring deals to
create flexibility. However, adding a $160
million quarterback would require
significant adjustments, possibly
including releasing or trading current
high-priced players.
Carr’s contract also complicates matters.
The Saints would either need to find a
trade partner willing to take on part of
his deal or absorb a substantial dead cap
hit if they choose to move on
prematurely. The team’s front office, led
by General Manager Mickey Loomis, will
have to weigh the pros and cons before
making any major decision.
How a New Quarterback Could Reshape the Saints.
Bringing in a new franchise quarterback
would undoubtedly signal a shift in the
Saints’ offensive approach. Whether it’s a
proven veteran or an up-and-coming
star, the team would likely tailor its
scheme to maximize the strengths of the
new signal-caller.
If the Saints land a quarterback known
for his mobility and playmaking ability, it
could lead to a more dynamic offense,
something New Orleans has lacked since
Drew Brees’ retirement. The team
already has a strong supporting cast,
including talented receivers like Chris
Olave and a solid running game led by
Alvin Kamara. A quarterback upgrade
could be the missing piece in making the
Saints a legitimate contender once again.
What’s Next for New Orleans?
While the rumors continue to swirl, no
official move has been made yet. The
Saints could be in the early stages of
evaluating their options, or they could
already be laying the groundwork for a
potential blockbuster move.
With the NFL offseason approaching, the
next few months will be crucial in
determining the Saints’ direction at
quarterback. If the front office believes
they have an opportunity to upgrade
from Carr, they may be willing to make a
bold move—one that could reshape the
franchise for years to come.
For now, Saints fans will have to wait
and see whether the team’s interest in a
$160 million quarterback turns into
reality or if Derek Carr remains the
team’s starter heading into the 2025
season.
