Saints Super Star Alvin Kamara Shares Cryptic Posting Hinting Good News on the way following……

What is going on with the New Orleans Saints?

New Orleans has been pretty active since free agency opened up, but there could be more coming.

Saints star running back Alvin Kamara took to social media on Sunday night with a cryptic post that good news could be on the way.

“Great news cominnnnn!!” Kamara shared with a smiling emoji as well as a fire emoji.

What could this mean? Kamara didn’t share at follow up so at this point there’s really no way to know. It’s interesting and the second week of free agency is kicking off. It’s easy to jump to free agency.

New Orleans has been very active since free agency kicked off. Some guys are sticking around, like Chase Young and Juwan Johnson. The Saints have made some other moves like bringing Justin Reid to town. New Orleans has tried to make other moves and was heavily tied to former Los Angeles Rams star Cooper Kupp before he signed with the Seattle Seahawks.

Could the Saints be looking at adding another star? There’s really no way to know what Kamara could’ve been with his post because it’s social media and he could be talking about a lot of things.

It could just be a post about his personal life.

While this is the case, Saints fans certainly noticed Kamara’s message and immediately started speculating what he could’ve meant. Hopefully, we find out more soon about what it could be.

New Orleans Saints Linked To $31 Million Offensive Star As Potential Free Agent Addition as Kellen Moore

BREAKING: New Orleans Saints Linked To $31 Million Offensive Star As Potential Free Agent Addition as Kellen Moore …….

The New Orleans Saints seemed to be facing a long rebuild when they entered the 2025 offseason. New Orleans was in the worst cap situation in the entire league as they were over $60 million over the cap limit.

The Saints could have cut veterans Cam Jordan and Derek Carr in order to save a lot of money. These two moves would have set the team back a few years, but it would have put them in a better cap spot.

Instead, the Saints decided to keep both of them and pursue some potential win-now free agents including Cooper Kupp. While they whiffed on Kupp, the Saints could still go after some serious free-agent talent this offseason.

Jaleel Grandberry of Who Dat Dish recently urged the Saints to pursue Chicago Bears offensive lineman Teven Jenkins in free agency. Jenkins is projected to sign a three-year contract worth around $31 million, per Spotrac.

New Orleans still has a major need at the left guard spot, and one of the best available guards is Teven Jenkins,” Grandberry wrote. “The veteran offensive lineman is coming off of four seasons with the Chicago Bears, and has appeared to find his footing on the interior after being drafted as a tackle. He could come to New Orleans, and solidify the Saints’ offensive line.

This addition wouldn’t break the bank for the Saints. Paying a solid offensive lineman around $10 million to $12 million a year seems like a steal. For the Saints, this could open up the run game a lot more. It would also give the team flexibility to pursue talented skill position players in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Juwan Johnson reveals Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks were pursuing him before signing $30.75M deal with New Orleans Saints amidst tight end frenzy

Juwan Johnson’s Breakout Journey

Juwan Johnson, once a backup tight end, has steadily carved his way into a vital role on the field. Over recent seasons, his contributions have grown substantially, with notable increases in both receptions and receiving yards. His development on the field reflects the work ethic and talent that have defined his career progress.

Pursuit by Multiple Teams

In a competitive free agency period, Johnson was courted by several teams, including those with storied programs in both Denver and Seattle. Despite significant interest from these franchises, he chose to re-sign with New Orleans. His decision came in the form of a three-year contract worth $30.75 million, with $21.25 million fully guaranteed, reaffirming his commitment to the organization and to head coach Sean Payton—under whom he previously enjoyed success.

Shifts in Team Strategies

The Broncos’ pursuit of Johnson eventually led them to shift their focus after not securing his services. They moved quickly to secure another talented tight end by signing a two-time Pro Bowl veteran to a two-year deal valued at $23 million, with $16.5 million guaranteed. This acquisition is expected to bolster their lineup, as the new player steps into a likely full-time starting role. The moves highlight how teams adjust their strategies during a competitive free agency period, weighing veteran experience against emerging talent in the draft.

Looking Ahead

Johnson’s decision to remain with New Orleans underscores a dedication to continuity and success. Meanwhile, Denver’s proactive approach in shifting their focus signals an ongoing competitive drive as teams work to build depth at the tight end position. As the landscape of the NFL continues to evolve, the ripple effects of these decisions will be closely watched by fans and analysts alike.

Major Free Agency Move

The New Orleans Saints made a significant free agency decision by signing Chase Young to a three-year deal, a move that underlines the franchise’s commitment to potential over immediate past production. The deal, valued at up to $51 million, marks the team’s most substantial investment in the market.

Performance and Potential

Chase Young, a former No. 2 overall pick, has shown flashes of brilliance during his second season with the Saints. While his production has not reached the levels expected of top-tier players, his talent remains evident. His best season in terms of sack totals came during his rookie campaign when he recorded 5.5 sacks. Despite this, his ability to generate pressure has stood out; he produced 66 pressures in the latest season—a notable achievement amongst his peers in the position.

Strategic Implications for the Defense

Under the new defensive coordinator, the Saints plan to lean heavily on their pass rush. With a shift in roles for other veterans in the defensive lineup, expectations are high that Young will step up to fill a pivotal role. The team’s approach suggests that his contract is structured as a projection of his future capabilities rather than solely a reward for past production. The success of this investment will be closely tied to his continued development, as New Orleans looks to balance proven talent with the promise of high upside.

Looking Ahead

The organization’s commitment to a forward-thinking strategy is clear with this signing. By prioritizing the potential improvement in Young’s game, the Saints are laying the groundwork for a dynamic and competitive defense. As the upcoming seasons unfold, there will be keen interest in observing whether his growth aligns with the ambitious expectations set forth by this high-stakes free agency move.

Kellen Moore embarks on bold journey with New Orleans Saints as he signs 2-time champion Justin Reid to elevate the defense

Kellen Moore’s appointment marks a decisive shift for the New Orleans Saints. His arrival signals an ambition to fundamentally reshape the team rather than resorting to incremental adjustments. The strategy is clear: modernize and intensify every facet to elevate the franchise to new competitive heights.

Defensive Revamp

From the outset, Moore’s focus has been on reinforcing the defense. Recognizing that a robust backline forms the foundation of any successful team, he initiated sweeping changes aimed at creating a formidable defensive front. These measures are designed to recalibrate the unit’s dynamics and instill a culture of resilience and adaptability.

Champion Leadership

A cornerstone of Moore’s strategy is the acquisition of a player with proven winning experience. Securing the services of a two-time Super Bowl champion provides the defense with not only refined skills but also the leadership and composure that come from success at the highest level. This veteran presence is expected to influence the dressing room and set the tone for a disciplined, championship-minded approach.

Navigating Challenges Ahead

This bold overhaul is not without its hurdles. Moore faces the task of integrating new talent into an existing system while managing evolving challenges both on and off the field. The journey demands innovation, strategic planning, and the ability to make decisive moves under pressure. As the transformation unfolds, the focus remains on building a cohesive unit capable of overcoming adversity and achieving consistent excellence.

Saints Legend Reveals Shocking Motivation That Made him Return To New Orleans

The New Orleans Saint have done a good job minimizing turnover this offseason by keeping a lot of the team’s pending free agents in town and also guys that seemingly were at risk of being released.

New Orleans has some serious cap issues and has pushed some of those issues to next year thanks in large part to contract restructurings. For weeks there was chatter about different guys who could be cut and rumors were running rampant.

One guy whose name was floated in social media rumors was eight-time Pro Bowler Cameron Jordan. He has spent his entire 14-year career as a member of the Saints and luckily isn’t going anywhere.

He discussed his motivation for staying in New Orleans on the “Off the Edge” podcast.

“My agent calls me, he was like ‘Hey, you know, we’ve got to sort of get something done,'” Jordan said. “Got to check around the league if you want to go somewhere…I was like if I have to go somewhere, I will go. Ranted a little bit. I was like this is where I should be. My contract says I have another year on it so unless they cut me I’m not leaving or I’m not taking a pay reduction…

“Do I really want to go somewhere for the next two years or three years? We’re going to take this year-by-year. Year No. 15, let’s figure this out. Family loves it here. The community work that I do here is a part of me. It’s such a big part of me…At the end of the day, this is where I want to be. I’ve always said I want to win a Super Bowl in the Black and Gold.”

Jordan is someone who has made it clear that he never wants to leave the Saints. Hopefully, they can reward him and his loyalty with a Super Bowl win.
