(Video) Watch: Almeria 1-3 Real Madrid All Goals and Full Match Highlight

Up until Jude Bellingham’s second goal on the hour-mark, you could argue that Real Madrid had been second best.

They fought back from conceding an early goal to former player Sergio Arribas inside three minutes and looked likely to take control of the game after Bellingham’s first goal of the game.

They did, to a certain extent, but were then faced with a mini-onslaught from the hosts led by Largie Ramazani and Lucas Robertone, who both had a number of efforts on goal and gave Andriy Lunin some real work to do.

Bellingham’s second goal, however, was the game changer, completing knocking the belief out of Almería. From that moment on, there was little doubt about the outcome, with the introductions of Eduardo Camavinga and Luka Modric helping Los Blancos take the sting out of the game and offer even more of a threat in the closing stages.

A third goal from Vinícius with just under 20 minutes left to go turned a fiercely-contested clash into something of a procession as the full-time whistle approached.

Real Madrid are next in action in LaLiga on Friday 25 August, when they’ll face Celta Vigo, again away from home (due to ongoing renovation work at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu).

Updated 2025 NFL Draft order after Week 16: Cowboys hanging onto top 15

Where would the Dallas Cowboys pick in the 2025 NFL Draft was held today?

Another week of the NFL season is in the books and we are now poised to enter the penultimate week of the 2024-25 campaign. For the Dallas Cowboys, it’s the final two games until next season.

Dallas was eliminated from the postseason thanks to some late-game heroics from the Washington Commanders against the Philadelphia Eagles, so the focus shifts toward the offseason and 2025 NFL Draft.

Currently, the Cowboys are hanging onto a top 15 selection, but that will be in danger if the team continues its hot streak.

The No. 1 overall pick, meanwhile, currently belongs to the New York Giants, followed by the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars to round out the top three.

Where would the Cowboys pick if the 2025 NFL Draft was set to begin today?

A look at the current 2025 NFL Draft order entering the penultimate week of the regular season can be seen below.

Breaking: Just In Miami Dolphin Multiple 49ers starters along the offensive line were ruled out for the final 2 games.

After the 49ers’ Week 16 matchup with the Miami Dolphins, head coach Kyle Shanahan gave an update on injuries. Aaron Banks, a left guard, will miss the season’s last two games because of an MCL injury. Due to a quad injury, left tackle Jaylon Moore, who has been starting for more than a month in place of Trent Williams, will also miss the next two games. Spencer Burford, who replaced them, is on a day-to-day basis while the team waits for his calf injury MRI. Shanahan had no news regarding Williams. He hadn’t stated, however, what has been clear since William’s injury: that he won’t be making a comeback this season. Williams’ ankle “hasn’t been able to improve to get him out there, and that won’t be possible,” Shanahan stated.hasn’t been able to improve to get him out there, and that won’t change these next two weeks, especially with the situation we’re in.”

In light of numerous injuries, the 49ers may need to switch one of the guards on the roster to tackle: “We’ve brought in a couple of practice squad guys recently.” We’ll also need to decide on potential guards when you reach this stage, when you’re really low. Security Linebacker Dee Winters (chest) and Ji’Ayir Brown (ankle) are regulars. We probably won’t see Dre Greenlaw again. Due to calf pain, Greenlaw only played four snaps in the Dolphins’ game and was unable to return. Shanahan talked about Greenlaw for a long time, describing his comeback as “inspiring” after witnessing what Dre has endured:

“My gut is most likely that he’ll end up being shut down. I have to wait to talk to Dre on that to see how he’s doing. That’s a decision I’ll leave up to Dre, depending on how his health is.”

Greenlaw’s teammates, specifically Fred Warner, have been outspoken about saving Greenlaw from himself. Shanahan mentioned how Dre was “pretty emotional” when the team told him he wasn’t going back out after the first series

Here’s Kyle’s quote talking about the fine line of playing Greenlaw and saving him from himself:

That’s what we did on play 4. It’s also in Dre’s best interest to get out there and play. He told me he’ll be good next week [After the Rams game in Week 15]. That’s how bad he wants to go. But by no means doing it at the expense of next year. Dre understands. His passion and heart want to be out there.”

Running back Isaac Guerendo will return to practice Thursday after Christmas. Shanahan said Guerendo remains day-to-day but is “trending in the right direction.”

SHOCKING NEWS: I’M LEAVING, NY Jets Wide Receiver Garrett Wilson Announces His Departure Citing Both Personal And Professional Reasons.

In a stunning revelation that has sent shockwaves through the NFL community, New York Jets star wide receiver Garrett Wilson announced his departure from the team on Tuesday. The 2022 Offensive Rookie of the Year made his decision public during a press conference, citing a combination of personal and professional reasons.

This unexpected announcement comes during a pivotal season for the Jets, who are battling for a playoff spot. Wilson, a cornerstone of the Jets’ offense, has been instrumental in the team’s success since being drafted 10th overall in 2022. His departure leaves a significant void on a team already struggling to maintain consistency in an ultra-competitive AFC East.

Speaking to the media, Wilson appeared emotional but resolute. “This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make,” he began. “The Jets have been my family for the past few years, and I’ve given everything I have to this organization. But after careful consideration and discussions with my loved ones, I’ve decided to step away.”

Wilson did not provide explicit details regarding the personal factors influencing his decision but hinted at needing to prioritize his well-being and family life. “Sometimes, life presents challenges that force you to re-evaluate your priorities,” he said. “Right now, I need to focus on things beyond football. It’s not a decision I made lightly, but it’s one I feel is right for me.”

On the professional front, Wilson acknowledged frustrations with the direction of the team. The Jets, despite high expectations, have faced persistent struggles on offense this season. “I came here to win and be part of something special,” Wilson said. “But there are issues within the organization that I feel are beyond my control. As much as I’ve tried to push through, I’ve realized that it’s time to step away.”

Wilson’s comments have sparked speculation about internal issues within the Jets’ organization. While he refrained from criticizing specific individuals, his remarks hint at dissatisfaction with the team’s leadership and overall strategy.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh expressed disappointment but emphasized support for Wilson’s decision. “Garrett is an exceptional talent and an even better person. While we’re deeply saddened to see him leave, we respect his decision and wish him nothing but the best,” Saleh said.

General Manager Joe Douglas released a statement praising Wilson’s contributions to the team. “Garrett has been a true professional and a leader on and off the field. His impact on our organization is immeasurable, and he will always be part of the Jets family,” the statement read.

Wilson did not confirm whether his departure marks the end of his NFL career, leaving the door open for a potential return. “This isn’t goodbye forever,” he said. “It’s just goodbye for now.”

As for the Jets, the team must now regroup and find a way to fill the void left by their star receiver. With the playoffs still in sight, the pressure on the coaching staff and remaining players has never been greater.

Wilson’s departure is a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of the NFL and the personal sacrifices players make in pursuit of success. For the Jets and their fans, this is a moment of heartbreak, reflection, and uncertainty about what lies ahead.
