Manchester United will take on Bayern Munich today in a Group A match in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Bayern Munich holds the lead in the group with a 4-1-0 record and is currently undefeated through five games.

The club has a goal differential of five to go with a total of 13 points which is eight points above Copenhagen at No. 2. Bayern Munich took down Galatasaray in the club’s last Champions League game winning 2-1.

After 80 minutes of scoreless soccer, English star Harry Kane scored two goals in the 80th and 86th minute to put Bayern up 2-0 before eventually giving up a goal in stoppage time.

Manchester United has had a rough time in group play thus far. The club is just 1-1-3 through the first five games despite having just a negative-two-goal differential. Man United drew in its last group-stage game with Galatasaray 3-3 at the end of November.

In that draw, Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring in the 11th minute putting Man United up 1-0. Bruno Fernandes added to it in the 18th minute going up 2-0. After conceding a goal, halftime was 2-1. Scott McTominay came out of the break and scored to put United up 3-1 before it eventually gave up two more goals at the end of the second half.
